With over 150 attendees, the RECH3 Annual Meeting is one of the largest educational and scientific events on Retouching field, an ideal venue for conservators and scientists to present research results about retouching. The main focus will be to promote the exchange of ideas, concepts, terminology, methods, techniques and materials applied to the retouching process in different areas of conservation: mural painting, easel painting, sculpture, graphic documentation, architecture, plasterwork, photography, contemporary art, among others.

Árvore is a vocational school which aims at an active citizenship education and in the development of training in areas that require artistic competences mainly in the realm of plastic arts with new technologies as complementary tools.
Located in Porto’s historical centre, the school wants to accomplish Árvore’s Project, a humanistic approach by means of art.
Its educational project enhances the awareness of creativity and active participation in the defence of the fundamentals of freedom, peace and tolerance, as well as the cultural and environmental heritage, according to UNESCO’s mission, as it is the first Portuguese associated school.
Its pedagogy is focussed on a practical approach and is addressed towards a project methodology based upon the development of partnerships with local institutions and a close teacher/student relationship.
Escola Árvore provides psychological services, a special educational needs teacher and a support cabinet to help students in their labour market integration.
Escola Árvore provides educational support to its students so that they can improve their grades while applying to university.
Escola Árvore ensures all students internships in relevant Portuguese and foreign companies. Escola Árvore is fully equipped in all training areas and it provides its students with the necessary equipment for their work inside and outside the classroom.
Escola Árvore is owned by Escola das Virtudes – Cooperativa de Ensino Polivalente e Artístico, C.R.L., established in 1982 to develop an alternative project of humanistic training by means of art – Árvore’s Project. .
